08 Hello everyone and welcome to ideas for a better life. I am Eugenio Valla, reader ruiz, stubborn and lover of personal development. When we embark on a journey of personal development or professional development, it is common to encounter a human landscape that seems to have stopped over time. Ours has always been, our usual relationships, although they are still valuable and even if we still love all these people, they may somehow fall short to accompany us in this new chapter of our life. As we grow, as we evolve, we change and, logically, it is natural for our interests not to s s s o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o Our values are also changing. But that transformation that accompanies personal development can lead us to feel a little displaced, a little lonely, a little out of what our usual social circles have been. Until then.
21 You' ve felt that way once. It is as if we were living a different experience, an experience in which everyday conversations no longer fill us in the same way they filled us before. Now we want to explore deeper topics, we want to share our new passions with others. We want to discuss ideas that we have never discussed so far. But we often find that our friends, our family, they are still immersed in their same routines, They are still immersed in the conversations of always the themes have not changed you change, but the world around you or the people you have around do not have to change you advance towards a new version of yourself and the social environment tends to stay more or less static. Then this discrepancy can generate some discomfort, especially at first. But what I propose to you today is that you see it from a different point of view, that you see it as the impulse you need to seek new connections, to search for new communities, to seek new relationships that will drive you to go even further. This situation does not have to be a cause of discouragement or dissatisfaction. This only means that we
53 are growing, that we are expanding our horizons. It' s the signal you' re going to signal that we' re really making progress. When our usual environment says it doesn' t follow us in conversations or in things we like to talk about right now, then my proposal is that you use that momentum to look for new connections. And how we do that, then, imagining that we come to a whole new city for ourselves or a whole new country, to what places and days to meet people, where you could find people who are in tune with those goals, with those aspirations you have.
38 Now it depends, obviously, on what you want to know. There are activities that can fit better with that purpose, with that new life that you have marked yourself. If you want to be a writer, you can join a reading club or writing club. If you want to do other things, you can be enrolling in certain events, certain groups, clubs, etc. At the end of what this is about is that you look at your city, look at your surroundings with new eyes, and try to look for meaningful relationships in places where I' ve never been before. What do you think is the opportunity to expand your network of contacts, to surround yourself with people who understand you, who understand the transformation journey you are in, who understand your new goals. In the end, this is about taking the step outside our comfort zone. It' s about opening us up to new experiences, new places, new people and, when you do, you realize that you' re not only expanding your perspective, you' re not only expanding your knowledge, but you' re also creating connections, new wheels that will accompany you on that journey you' ve decided to undertake. It can be a journey of personal growth, it can be a journey of professional growth,
10 of professional reinvention. Any of these things, because, after all, life is a journey and on trips you are constantly discovering things and then the philosophy behind this little pill today is that you find like- minded travel companions who don' t stay anchored in the usual circles if it' s not what you want. So find those like- minded fellow travelers so that your journey is as best as possible and so that you can also live as best as possible and without further firing me. Thank you very much, as always and until the next
