A Stalin, Lenin, Hitler, Castro o Mussolini, por citar algunos dictadores, les gustaba la soledad y ejercían el poder con una brutalidad y crueldad espeluznantes. En cambio, una democracia se caracteriza, tanto por la forma como por el fondo, en cómo se ejerce el poder. No es bueno que una única persona tome todas las decisiones. La experiencia vital de Sánchez le ha conducido a desconfiar de todo el mundo, ya que sabe, mejor que nadie, que sus mayores pelotas son los que le traicionaron. Por ello, no consulta las grandes decisiones, sino que simplemente las comunica. La realidad es que está muy solo, aunque rodeado de una Corte de fieles como si fuera un shogun de la Casa Tokugawa.
