La izquierda política y mediática vende lo sucedido en Francia como si hubieran obtenido una gran victoria, cuando en realidad ha quedado una asamblea compleja hasta el extremo que puede ser ingobernable. Nadie tiene una mayoría suficiente y son necesarias alianzas. Le Pen ha conseguido más de diez millones de votos, pero solo 143 diputados mientras que el Nuevo Frente Popular (NFP) logra 6,9 millones y 179 escaños. El sistema electoral y la movilización han perjudicado a Le Pen, pero no hay que perder de vista el número de votos que ha conseguido.
