Serra da Mantiqueira is a mountain range that intersects three Brazilian states: São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro. In São Paulo, Pico dos Marins, in the municipality of Piquete, a most intriguing mystery took place in 1985. This story is about the disappearance of 15-year-old scout Marco Aurélio on a climbing excursion. He just disappeared without a trace and the mystery still baffles his family, investigators, researchers, and ufologists. After almost 40 years, the case remains a mystery.
